Job Title: Physician - Emergency Medicine
Join a prestigious physician group in Gallipolis, Ohio, where OVP Health is dedicated to providing exceptional emergency department care. We are actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to contribute to the growth of our Holzer Health Programs. At OVP Health, a family-owned practice, we focus on delivering high-quality hospitalist and emergency department services across multiple inpatient facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care as part of a physician-led organization.
- Manage a 20-bed emergency department with a yearly volume of approximately 21,000 visits.
- Work in a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts, including a blend of day and night shifts.
- Utilize Paragon EMR for patient documentation.
- Provide on-site administrative support to facilitate patient care.
- Assure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to provide the best patient outcomes.
- Full-time permanent position may require residency in Gallipolis.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
- At least 12 months of employment experience in Emergency Medicine (2,000 hours) required.
- Active Ohio Medical License (in hand or in process).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, active).
- Comprehensive list of procedures performed by the candidate.
- Proof of COVID vaccination status.
- Clean malpractice history and current licensing.
- DEA license must be obtained prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or applicable certification.
- Current and valid Ohio Medical License.
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report.
