Job Title: Physician - Emergency Medicine
Join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility located in the heart of Cambridge, Ohio! We are seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians or EM-experienced Family/Internal Medicine Physicians to contribute to the growth of our Emergency Medicine program. This physician-led organization is committed to delivering exceptional care in an engaging team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in the emergency department with an annual volume of approximately 27,000 visits.
- Manage patient flow in a 16-bed emergency department.
- Work collaboratively during 12-hour shifts with on-site administrative support.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for patient records and documentation.
- Fulfill full-time permanent position requirements, including possible residency in the local area.
- Contribute to a team that includes 24/7 physician coverage and 36 hours/day of APP support.
- Possibility to accept locum tenens candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
- Minimum of 12 months/2,000 hours of experience in Emergency Medicine (not including training).
- Possession of a valid Ohio medical license (in hand or in process).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) and proof of procedures performed required.
- Proof of COVID vaccination status is mandatory.
- Clean malpractice record and licensing are essential.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Ohio Medical License.
- Clean malpractice history.
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with EM experience.
