Coverage needed: *Looking for providers to cover ~100-133hrs/month*

Submission Requirements: Minimum availability required to be considered 66 hours per month

• Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED

• PA License *PA license highly preferred*– or willing to obtain - REQUIRED
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS - REQUIRED
• Clean Background - Highly Preferred
• Min availability to be considered - ~66hrs a month- REQUIRED
• 3 years experience– REQUIRED

Practice Description:

• Providers Typical Day: Physician will treat patients in Emergency Room to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis; must be able to evaluate a variety of acuity, think and act quickly to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate course of treatment and will work as part of a team with providers and other members of the emergency staff. UPMC focuses on physician wellness that includes staffing ratios of generally less than two patients per hour.
• Multiple positions open
• AVG number of admissions per day and night: 5-6
• AVG Census per day/night: 52
• EMR: Paragon
• Support Staff: Clinical team is available for support. We also have e-ER and e-Hospitalist services available at all times as support (as little or as much as the Provider would like).
