Facility in Peoria, IL is looking for EM physicians to provide night coverage:
PAY RATE: $385/hr
Board Status: ABEM BС/BE
State License Required to Apply or IMLC in hand
Minimum # Years Experience: 1
DEA Required?: Yes
State Licensure: Illinois
Certifications Required: ACLS;BLS
Coverage Need Details:
currently 4.1 FTE short and anticipate that to increase to 5.95
FTE in December.
Estimated Shifts/Month: 60
Privileges Available:
EMR / Charting: EPIC
Providers Typical Day: Level 1 trauma enter 55 beds in ED EM boarded. Experience
working with residents and med students in a large medical center.
Shifts: Nights 8 and 12 hr shifts.
Patient Population: Mixed volume for a midsize city of 110k. level 1 trauma center.
Pediatric hospital. Sexual assault treatment center Annual Volume: 80k/year adult and peds
Pediatric Volume: 16k Admission Rate: 27% Transfer Rate: <1% Who is responsible for
Codes: in-house codes/RRT’s are covered by an inpatient team 24/7 Typical cases: mixed
Required procedures: All procedures within scope of a BC EM physician
Patient volume: average 2pph Support staff: 3 year residency, MS 3 and 4 medical students, APPS
Adult Percentage: 80.00
Peds Percentage: 20.00
