Facility in Altoona, PA is looking for ER coverage.
Shifts are 10 hours and physician must be willing to work any shift we have a need for (6a-4p, 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 1p-11p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a or 9p-7a)
Estimated Shifts/Month: 5
EMR / Charting: Cerner
Days to Credential: 90
*APPs respond to codes and RRTs
*No vent management
*AVG annual volume: ~45K
*AVG volume per 24hrs: ~137
*Will work alongside other physicians and APPs | will sign off on APPs
*Altoona average 51,000 patients a year with 70 hrs. of physician coverage and 24 hours APP coverage daily
REQUIREMENTS:
*State License Required to Apply?: Yes
*Minimum # Years Experience: 2
*Candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine or Board eligible
*ACLS, BLS and PALS is NOT required as long as board certification requirements are met *Stroke Certified
*Provider will also work be credentialed at another facility nearby
