**Emergency Medicine Opening in Roanoke Rapids, NC** Suffolk VA 70m; Durham 80m Seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician or Family/Internal Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine experience to join their team. * 26-bed Emergency Department with strong Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant support * Emergency Department includes a locked 6-bed psychiatric unit * 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage * Emergency Medicine provider team includes 8 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers * Full scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nephrology and Pediatrics * Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to level 1 trauma center * Telestroke support * Cardiac Cath Lab * Ability to live on Lake Gaston * Conveniently located between Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA * Family friendly community with an affordable cost of living * Excellent compensation and benefits package * Relocation assistance * In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends. 204-bed hospital that includes a medical staff of over 60 physicians.
