Seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician in our state-of-the-art facility currently under construction, set to open its doors in late 2024-25.

Shift(s) Description: 12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert emergency medical care in a new and advanced Emergency Department setting.
• Diagnose and treat patients efficiently and effectively, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, providing timely and accurate medical assessments.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records using the Epic EMR system.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, conferences, and ongoing educational activities.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program.
• Active and unrestricted Kentucky medical license and DEA registration at the time of presentation.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.

• All specialty backup available, excluding Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery.
