Clinical Details

• ED treats nearly 60,000 pts per year (ADC = 163); MV ED treats nearly 38,000 pts per year (ADC = 103)
• Cases will cover birth - 21 years old
• Level 1 Trauma
• 23 treatment rooms

Requirements

• Special procedures: Sedation; intubation; airway management; trauma assessment Behavioral Health assessments completed by Master's prepared individuals and findings discussed with PEM's regarding admission/D/C, Deep sedation; advanced airway management.
• Must be pediatric emergency medicine trained
• MD or DO degree, board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Active OH License
• DEA, CSR
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Two years or more experience in a pediatric Trauma Level 1 emergency department. (**must be pediatric emergency medicine trained**)
  • *We will take pediatric critical care fellowship trained, with ED experience. *

Call

• 4 weekend call shifts per month
