Emergency Medicine – MD/DO

Facility Location: Southern TN

Coverage/Contract Dates: 6/1/2024 – 9/30/2024

Schedule/Work Hours: Needing 24hr physician coverage / 12hr shifts, 7a-7p/7p-7a must be willing to work days and nights.

Scope: Bread and Butter ER procedures

Certifications: BC/BE, Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine. ABEM & AOBEM, ATLS, ACLS, PALS. Must be vaccinated against Flu & Covid.

- MUST have 2 CURRENT years recent experience working in an Emergency Department, showing a patient census of 10,000 patients annually.

Any physician falling under the “grandfather clause” declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will NOT qualify.
