Arc Health is seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to provide emergency medicine care at a comprehensive Indian Health Service facility in the Southwest. It serves a rural and underserved community in Chinle, AZ. Ideal candidates are those who will consider returning to the facility for at least one-two weeks each month. Urgently hiring qualified candidates for locums positions that are:
  • Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
  • Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners
  • Interested in joining a dynamic and potentially disruptive social healthcare enterprise
  • Completed a US residency program

Practice Description
  • Typical number of patients per day: 10-12
  • EMR: RPMS
  • Schedule: Flexible

Requirements
  • Board-certified in EM/Eligible by ABEM
  • ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
  • Not had a lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment

Job Responsibilities

Staff the Emergency Department
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
Perform comprehensive examinations for adults and children
Participate in quality improvement/patient safety projects
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Qualifications

Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners
Board-certified in EM; or Board eligible
ACLS, BLS, PALS
Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
