This facility is a clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.

Job Responsibilities
Level III Trauma Center
~30,000 visits/year
Full-service hospital with a 24/7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT/MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room
42 hours of physician coverage/day
Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.
Only transfers out < 1% of patients
Practice at one site!
Hospital-employed position!
24/7 scribe coverage and experienced, seasoned nursing staff
Teaching opportunity- residents, med-students, PA/ARNP students
Qualifications
BC/BE
Active DEA
ER Residency Program and/or ER Fellowship to be completed prior to start.
Clean background and malpractice history preferred.
