**Locums Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Andalusia, AL**
Located in southern Alabama
**Coverage**
- Start: April 1, 2024
- End: Ongoing
**Position Details**
- No call
- Outpatient
- EMR: Medhost
- Does provider require hospital/surgery center privileges? No
- Patients per shift: 24-26
- 12 beds in dept
- Hospital is not stroke certified
- No rounding
- Alabama license required (no IMLC)
- Estimated credentialing time frame: 60 days
*Description/Other Details:*
- EM trained candidates will need ACLS, PALS & BLS; Non-EM trained will need ATLS as well.
- ED volume - approx 18,774
- 24 hours of physician coverage; 7a-7p, 7p-7a
- APP coverage 11a-9p daily
- Admission rate - 8%
- Transfer rate - 2.5%
- AMA - 1.2%
- EMS arrivals - 12.5%
