Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

Job Description: Sparrow Clinton Hospital is urgently seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic Emergency Services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in meeting the emergent and urgent health needs of patients and their families. This is a full-time position requiring 12-13 shifts per month starting on April 1, 2024, with emergency temps available.

Responsibilities:

• Admit 5-7 ED patients to the hospital per day
• Average 1-5 patients per 24 hours
• Handle 80% ED transfer patients per month
• Manage a 10-bed emergency department
• Respond to house codes with ED emergencies taking precedence
• Oversee APP from 7p-11p (3 hours)
• Attend to patients of all ages
• Utilize Epic EMR system
• Work in a Level IV trauma center
• Coordinate transfers to Sparrow Lansing, 19 miles away
• Collaborate with LifeNet for air ambulance response (infrequently needed)

Requirements:

• active MI license
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, CPR, PALS certifications
• 3+ years of experience
• Local provider only- Will reimburse Mileage
  
• COVID vaccination
