Locums – Chattanooga, Tennessee, Emergency Medicine Openings
  • Clinical Role:

    • Start: 6/1/24 – Ongoing Need
    • Must be willing to cross-credential at 3 facilities and must be willing to work at all 3 locations days and nights
    • 24-hours of Physician Coverage: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am
    • APP Coverage: Will be adding once volume picks up
    • EMR: Meditech
    • Anticipated 10 - 12,000 annual FSED patient visits
    • PPH: 1.15 – 1.5
    • 12-bed ED
    • Onsite lab, X-ray and CT
    • Residency: Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine
    • MUST have 2 CURRENT years recent experience working in an Emergency Department, showing a patient census of 10,000 patients annually
    • Any physician falling under the “grandfather clause” declaring physicians board eligible if they completed 8,000 hours of clinical practice in emergency departments by 1988, will not qualify
    • Board Certifications: MUST be Board Eligible, with achievement of certification within 5 years, or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
    • ABEM and AOBEM: Must be able to show that they have had the ATLS at least once in career, other than that all life certifications are waived
    • Board Eligible: Must have all life certifications; ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
    • Must have current and active TN medical license
    • Minimum 2 years recent experience in EM post-graduation, no new grads. Must be presently working in an emergency room setting
