Healthcare facility bordering Rhode Island looking for extra emergency department coverage this spring!
Schedule:
- Shift types: 7a-3p, 9a-5p, 3p-11p, 5p-1a, 11p-7a
- Start as soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 60 days
Assignment:
- Volume: 43,000 annual visits, estimated about 100+ patients per day
- Outpatient, adults & some peds
- Support staff: Mid-levels & specialities on call
- EMR: Meditech
- Facility: No trauma designation
- Procedures: Will need to be comfortable handling anything that comes in the ER
- Higher acuity cases are transferred out
Requirements:
- Board certified or eligible in emergency medicine
- Will consider FM candidates with extensive ER experience if they have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- Active MA license & DEA
Travel/Lodging:
- Rental car, flight, and lodging are fully covered!
- Less than 1 hour from an international airport
- Less than 1 hour from Rhode Island
