Northern Massachusetts hospitals in need over emergency medicine coverage to start as soon as credentialed

Schedule:

• Shift types: 12p-9p, 2p-12a, 3p-12a, 4p-1a, 6a-4p, 6a-3p, 9p-6a,10p-6a, 2p-10p, 6a-6p, 6a-2p, 6p-6a
• Start as soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 60 days

Assignment:

• Volume: Main facility 42,000 annual visits, average 100 patients per day & secondary facility has 21,000 annual visits, average 57 patients per day
• Outpatient, adults & some peds
• Support staff: Mid-levels & specialities on call
• EMR: Meditech
• Facility: No trauma designation, has main facility and neighboring secondary facility
• Procedures: Will need to be comfortable handling anything that comes in the ER
  • Higher acuity cases are transferred out

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible in emergency medicine
  • Will consider FM candidates with extensive ER experience if they have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
• Active MA license & DEA

• A little over 1 hour from Boston
