- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Stroke and STEMI center
- 70k visits
- 12 shifts a day, shifts are 8 or 9 hours
- Shifts are6a-2p x2,8a-4p, 8a-5p,11a-7p,12P-8P,2p-10p x2,3p-11P,5p-1a, and10p-6a x2
- There are always two board certified ED physicianson 24/7
- Current group includes 18 board certified ED physician and
- 5 mid-levels
- Significant overlap of shifts
- Average1.5-1.8patients an hour
- No shortage of procedures (expected to be able to do all ER procedures)
- Anesthesia, Pedi Hospitalist, Hospitalist in house24/7
- Trauma surgery on call24/7, expected to be at bedside in30 minutes for critical trauma
- Other on call specialties " Orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery
- Intensivist in house7a-7p, Hospitalist cover ICUfrom 7p-7abut Intensivist in on call
- ED does not respond to hospital airways or codes
- Also have a FAST track option that sees ESI 3-5
- Full Time provider works .7 FTE (28 Hours Per Week) with competitive pay plus bonus
