Locums – Belton, Missouri, Emergency Medicine Openings

  • Clinical Role:

    • ASAP – Ongoing Need
    • Total Beds: 71
    • 3 Providers Requested
    • 17 ED beds, with 7 Fast Track
    • Avg Annual ED Visits: 31K-34K
    • PPH 3-3.8
    • Trauma Designation: Level III
    • daily; 10-hour shifts Mon-Thurs & 12-hour shifts Fri-Sun
    • 24-hours APP coverage daily; 12-hour shifts
    • EMR: Meditech
    • 28-hours physician coverage
    • Phys Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a; 10-hour shifts Mon-Thurs, 12p-10p
    • 24-hour APP coverage
    • APP Shifts: 9a-9p, 12p-12a
    • Backup Specialties: Cardiology, ICU, Orthopedic, Pulmonary, Urology, General Surgery, OBGYN, Oncology
    • Level III Certified Trauma Center
    • Radiology/imaging services
    • Rehabilitation (occupational, physical, speech therapy)
    • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
    • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (with the achievement of certification within 5 years) leading to certification in their specialty by the American Board of Medicine (ABEM), Family Medicine (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Board of Medicine (AOBM).
    • ATLS- required for any EM Board Eligible physician
    • Family or Internal Medicine: NIHSS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. *NO grace periods
    • If IM or FM, they MUST have 2 current years AND currently working in an Emergency Department
    • ATLS is required at ALL times for anyone that is IM or FM.
