SCHEDULE :
shift options: 6am-3pm; 2pm-11pm; 10pm-7am.
*100% inpatient.
JOB INFORMATION :
*Locum will need to remain flexible for shift coverage needs as they will utilize the locum for what is best for our need on the dates they are able to provide.
*We are looking for 2-3 candidates.
*The 15-28 shifts needed are across all campuses.
*Average number of patients per physician per day: 15-18/day; Average patients per hour: 2
*Staffing Model at Location: Single Physician coverage w/APP support 12 hours
*Hospitalist admits patients with the specialist as a consult.
*Number of ER rooms: 17
*Number of hospital beds: 81
*Annual Volume: 25,000
*4-8 weeks timeline for credentialing
REQUIREMENTS :
DEA Required? : Yes
State Licensure : KY
CSR License Required? : No
*Prefer Candidates who can cover 5-7 day stretches at a time.
*Prefer candidates to have a clear background with no malpractice.
*Not accepting IM boarded physicians at this time.
*If ABEM certified only NIHSS is required. If FM boarded then ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS are required also
