Details
- Setting: ED/Hospitalist comfortable with covering ER duties in Guttenberg, IA
- Level 4 Trauma
- 72 hour shifts Friday-Sunday (in house)
- Annual ER volume: 2200
- 50% of total hospital admissions received from ED
- 10% of ED patients admitted per day, 5% of ED patients transferred per day
- No OB cases
- ED/Hospitalist will manage critically ill patients (no ICU on site - would transfer)
- Schedule: 24 hour call, 8a-8p
- Board certified (ABMS, AOA)
- Must have ED experience
- Active IA license
- Must be local candidate given sporadic nature of the need
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP
- Paid weekly - pay negotiable
- 100% of malpractice insurance covered
