The ideal medical director will be board certified in emergency medicine, have 2-5 minimum years of leadership experience, and have effective and outstanding leadership skills. This leadership opportunity will report directly to the regional medical director and will be responsible for the oversight of full-time physicians and advanced practice clinicians. As facility medical director (FMD), you will be responsible for developing and sustaining relationships, impacting clinical strategies and workflows that promote evidence-based practice, and patient satisfaction, and improving value-based healthcare delivery.

Position Profile:
- Hospital beds: 160
- 23 private ED beds
- 3 dedicated behavioral health crisis intervention rooms
- Annual ED volume 40,000
- 30 hours of EM physician coverage per day, 10-hour shifts
- 27 hours of EM APC coverage per day
- Board certified/board eligible ABEM, AOBEM within five years of residency
- EMR-Meditech expanse with dragon
