Emergency Medicine Locums Opportunity in Pomeroy, OH
Job Description:
Locums Emergency Medicine in Pomeroy, OH where Outpatient Coverage with no call is needed. Here are some of the details:
Start Date: ASAP-3-4 months
Coverage Need/Schedule Details:
Shift times: Varies
- 8a-8p, 8p-8a
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified (if ABIM or ABFM - require EM credentials and recent experience) -REQUIRED
- Must have minimum 2 years experience in EM (will be checking for this on presentations) - REQUIRED
- OH License - REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED
- BLS/ACLS - Current at time of submission-REQUIRED
- If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS-REQUIRED
- Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions
Practice Description:
- Ideally provide coverage for up to 7-10 shifts per month consistently for the next 3-4 months
- Annual volume 30,000
- Coverage for 3 sites
- Free-standing ED that sees between 25-35 patients a day on average.
- Physicians do not handle admissions, those are handled by the Hospitalist team once the patient arrives at the main site.
- Traumas transferred to a tertiary center for trauma evaluation.
- APP’s available for coverage
- Each provider manages their own documentation.
- Duties: Routine ER Duties, codes
