Locums Emergency Medicine in Springfield, MO where Inpatient Coverage with no call is needed. Here are some of the details:

Start Date: March 1, 2024- March 1, 2025

Coverage Need/Schedule Details:

• Shift times: Varies

• 5a, 7a, 8a, 9a, 10a, 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p, 5p, 8p, 9p, 11p, and 11:59p.

Candidate Requirements:

• • Board Certified Emergency Medicine- REQUIRED
  • Active MO License - REQUIRED
  • Active Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS - REQUIRED
  • Must be willing to supervise APP’s-REQUIRED

Practice Description:

• Ideally provide coverage for up to 20 shifts per month ongoing.
• 15 patients per shift
• 70 beds in department.
• 11 bed pediatric unit.
• Annual volume 95,000
• APP’s available for coverage
• Inpatient setting
• Duties: Routine ER Duties, codes
• full array of specialty backup with 24hr MRI/CT availability
• 24 Hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, ED psychiatric service
• EMR: Epic

Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $300 hourly.
