Facility in Omaha, NE is looking for EM coverage. Will cover licensing costs, travel expenses and malpractice insurance.

5-7 days per week ongoing
Duties: Routine ER Duties, codes, ER locums don't have a lot of trauma responsibilities.
EMR: EPIC
Hospitalist are on site.

Credentialing Information:
Timeframe: 60 days (completed application needs to be returned to facility 48 hours after receipt)

Experience: Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency in the last 6 months

Annual volume? CUMC- IP ED Visits: 7,607 and OP ED Visits: 28, 521; CUMC -UC- IP ED Visits: 75 and OP ED Visits: 23,956
Single or double coverage? first facility: single doc + APC; another one is 36h doc+ APC
What is the schedule for app’s? CUMC-BM 11a-11p; CUMC-UC: 11a-11p,(occasionally more)
Does locum supervise app’s? Yes, at NE sites charts are cosigned by Physicians
Will you accept docs who need to obtain a NE license since the need doesn’t start for at least 3 months? Full NE license is taking <6 weeks. Yes

Specialty Backup/Support: All located at CUMC-BM with and easy transfer center process

Board Certified Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency completion)
Active NE License - REQUIRED OR IMLC, IF IMLC (LOQ IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION)
Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, & PALS - REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
Must be actively practicing as an EM Physician for the last 12 months or completion of EM residency in the last 6 months - REQUIRED
