Details:
  • Schedule: 15 shifts per month.
  • Nights only, 11p-8a.
  • 44 beds.
  • Annual ER volume: 60,000.
  • 10 ED physicians in group.
  • Percent of ED patients transferred each day: 1-2 per day out of 150 patients.
  • 30% total ED volume staffed by fast track.
  • Locum will have to supervise APPs.
  • EMR: Meditech.
  • ED will respond to house codes or airway.
  • Will discuss transfer protocol during interview if necessary.
  • Credentialing timeframe: 90 days or sooner.
  • Will pay for full travel if needed.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified (ABEM or AOBEM)...or BE within 5 yrs of residency.
  • MA license or already in process.
