A facility located in Kentucky is looking for Emergency Medicine coverage ASAP. what is your schedule looking like?

  • January - ongoing for 6+ months
  • 12 hour shifts: 7a-7p, 10a=-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a (MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ALL SHIFT TYPES) MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist. MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist.
  • APP coverage: 48 hours daily
  • Min 6 shifts per month
  • 455 beds
  • 65,000 annual volume
  • Fast Track: 52 ER beds (49 man ED, 2 trauma, 1 psych) additional 10 bed overflow unit
  • Specialty backup: All available EXCEPT Opthamology, OMFS and hand surgery
  • Trauma: non designated
  • 24 hr call lab
  • scribes work alongside physicians
  • New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-25
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be BC/BE in EM only- EM residency required
  • ATLS, BLS, PALS
