Envision Physician Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our collegial team at Methodist Westover Hills Emergency Center Freestanding ED, an extension of the emergency department at Methodist Hospital Northeast in San Antonio, Texas.

Position Profile:

  • 23,360 annual volume
  • 12 treatment rooms
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • Physician shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
  • 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
  • MediTech EMR
  • Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
  • 1099 position - up to 120 hours available

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Methodist ER Westover Hills is a 24/7 freestanding emergency center that serves the Westover Hills and surrounding areas. This 12,650 square foot facility offers a full range of services such as radiology, a full-service laboratory and telemetry and the benefits of immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical. This includes 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases. The compassionate team of medical professionals work to stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio.
