Submission Requirements:


  • Board Certified or Board Eligible- REQUIRED
  • Active IL license only - REQUIRED
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS - REQUIRED
  • Minimum 1 year experience: REQUIRED

Practice Description:

  • Multiple positions available
  • Level 1 Trauma Center, Pediatric Hospital, Sexual Assault Treatment Center
  • Patient population mid sized for a midsize city of 110K
  • Annual Volume: 80K / year adult and PEDS
  • Pediatric volume: 16K
  • Admission rate: 27%
  • Transfer rate: 1%
  • Who is responsible for codes: In house codes/RRT’s are covered by an inpatient team 24/7
  • Typical cases: mixed
  • Required procedures: All procedures within scope of a BC
  • Patient volume 1.7 pph
  • Support staff: 3 year residency, MS 3 and 4 medical students, APP’s
  • Adult percentage: 80%
  • PEDS percentage: 20%
  • EMR: Epic

JOB INFORMATION :

  • Must be available for a minimum of 6 shifts a month, more is better
  • Level 1 trauma enter
  • 73 beds- inclusive of pediatric ED , Comprehensive stroke center, and Peds PCCC center.
  • EM boarded
  • Experience working with residents and med students in a large medical center
  • Patient Population: Mixed volume for a midsize city of 110k. level 1 trauma center. Pediatric hospital. Sexual assault treatment center
  • Annual Volume: 80k/year adult and peds
