A hospital located in Northeastern North Dakota is in search of multiple Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide locum coverage starting ASAC through the end of December 2023. This opening will offer highly competitive pay. Considering providers with Board Cert in either EM/IM/FM with ED experience. Also willing to accept providers with IMLC or needing to obtain ND license.

Covered Expenses: Travel, Rental Car, Lodging, Malpractice Insurance.

  • Coverage needed ASAP. Coverage needed in Oct, Nov, Dec.
  • Schedule: 12 hour shifts. 7a-7p or 7p-7a
  • About 30% of the time there is another APP working 11a-11p.
  • There is only call after 7a-7p shifts. No call after the 7p-7a shifts.
  • Avg # of patients/day: 25
  • Avg # of admissions: 3
  • Adult 85%, Peds 25%
  • EMR: Meditech 6.0
  • Any specific required procedures other than general EM? All ACLS required procedures. CRNA available for intubation.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified (either in Emergency Medicine or IM/FM with ED experience)
  • Must do Avel/Avara eCARE - ER can be very busy.
  • Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, DEA
  • COVID Vaccinated
  • Availability stated upon submission
Highly Preferred But Not Required:
  • Active ND license (will consider providers with IMLC or needing to obtain ND license)
  • PALS - good to have, but not required
  • Clean Malpractice/Background for credentialing
