| Two facilities in Altoona, PA are in need of Emergency Medicine coverage for 18 shifts/month. It would be for a variety of shift times depending on the day. Can you help with some shifts each month? |
- Coverage needed for both Altoona and Bedford, will be cross credentialed
- Shifts Needed: 6a-4p, 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 1p-11p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a or 9p-7a (12 hour shifts)
- Typical Day: Seeing patients in the ED
- APPs respond to codes and RRTs
- Procedures: Include, but are not limited to, intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, I and D and other procedures that are within the scope of an emergency medicine residency trained physician.
- No vent management
- Patient age range: will range from peds to adult/geriatric care and see everything from acute to emergent/trauma.
- Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Osteopathic Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible
- Active PA license, ACLS, BLS, and PALS - must be through AHA or Red Cross, Stroke Certified
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 90 days
