SMART is actively recruiting for EM locum physicians for coverage in Kansas City, MO. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed.
Shifts: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am

Details:
The hospital is 500-bed
Level I Trauma Center and also claims a Level 1 Stroke Designation.
Emergency Department Profile:
· 46,000 annual patient visits
· Level I Trauma Center
· 40-bed ED including Rapid Care Path
· 40-hours of physician coverage daily
· 48-hours of APP coverage daily
· Meditech EMR
· Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. (ABMS, AOA)
Additional Details: They will take FM or IM; however, they MUST be EM Boarded with 5 years of recent EM Experience. Since the ACS does not recognize the ABPS, they will no longer accept this certification.
· ACLS, PALS and NIHSS required.
· ATLS preferred NOT required for ABEM providers.
