Emergency Medicine Wisconsin
Need coverage 6-8+ shifts/month in Stevens Point. *Only interested in locums with that type of availability for ongoing needs.*
Marshfield Medical Center-River Region @ Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids (combined departments, providers are credentialed at both locations.)
Stevens Point does 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
Wisconsin Rapids is a new hospital set to open 10/4/23. Prefer 24 hour shifts starting at 7a but will also do 12 hour shifts.

Prefer ABEM
Provider would have opportunities to float to other locations such as Eau Claire, Minocqua, Park Falls and their interest should be noted when a big is submitted.
Stevens Point average daily volume is between 25-30 with only 3-5 being actual ER patients. We have an APC M-F 10AM-5p (she sees the inpatients and then moves over to ER to cover the UC patients)
- Twelve bed inpatient unit staffed during the day by NP working with a tele-hospitalist. Tele-hospitalist coverage at night. Tele-stroke planned. Other specialty care available in Marshfield or Weston.
- On site lab, x-ray and CT. No unscheduled MRI. Point of care ultrasound available for use by ED providers. Diagnostic ultrasound weekdays and potentially weekends and evenings (TBD).
