Welcome to Continuum Physician Recruiting, a service specializing in the permanent placement of Physicians and Physicians Assistants. This division works in tandem with Continuum Pediatric Nursing and Continuum Medical Staffing, which recruits and places travel RNs, permanent position RNs and allied healthcare associates.
Continuum Physician Recruiting is led by Ray Drapkin, M.D. Dr. Drapkin earned a BA in Biology from Temple University in1969, then graduated with his MD from University of Maryland Medical School in 1973. After five years of residency at Montefiore Hospital in New York, Dr. Drapkin opened his own practice of Orthopedic Surgery in Columbia and Laurel, Maryland in 1978. Maryland Orthopedics eventually boasted a staff of seven physicians. Dr. Drapkin retired in May 2013 after 34 years practicing medicine.
Dr. Drapkin now turns his medical expertise to staffing for the healthcare industry, connecting qualified physicians and their assistants with desirable permanent positions throughout the country.
