Responsibilities:
- Shift Length: 12- and 24-Hour Shifts – Shifts run on the 8’s (36-hour shifts are allowed on an approval basis after the provider has been working at the facility for a length of time)
- Patient Volume: 9000 ER & UC Combined – 6000 for just ER only - 22 to 25 patients per 24 hours
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC, Dragon for dictation
- Trauma Level: 4
Qualifications/Requirements
- License: MN
- DEA: DEA
- Board Certification: ABEM, ABFM, ABIM (Only if they have ER experience of PEDS experience) & ABPS (Specialty Boards)
- Life Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, ATLS or CALS w/trauma module, and PALS. 2 hours of stroke education required annually by NIHSS or similar.
- Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: Yes, must be CALS w/Trauma module
- Covid/Flu Vaccination: Not Required
