Dermatopathologist
In a reference laboratory environment that focuses on subspecialties, you will be part of a team of experienced Dermatopathologists. Collaborate with a team of seasoned professionals to interpret dermatopathology-related tissue biopsies, resections, and frozen sections (where relevant). Type of Work:
- Evaluate surgical Dermatopathology specimens and render insightful and comprehensive diagnoses to enable clinicians to best treat their patients
- Participate in the educational, clinical research, and developmental efforts of the Dermatopathology Division
- Provide consultations for peer pathologists
- Provide guidance and recommendations to laboratory personnel as needed
- Incorporate clinical pathological correlation in reports
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (or equivalent medical professional degree) with dermatopathology fellowship training.
- Board Certification in AP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology.
- Dermatopathology board certification or board eligible.
- Hold or eligible to obtain unrestricted medical licensure.
