The UTRGV School of Medicine Department of Surgery is recruiting a Dermatologist. Candidates should have an interest in academics and teaching. The successful applicant will be a board certified, or board eligible, Dermatologist with an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with qualifications, experience and academic credentials. Women, veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply. Applicant must be Board Certified in Dermatology, be eligible for a Texas Medical License. and qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at the UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments.
The successful candidate should have a proven record of clinical excellence, experience in an educational environment, and outstanding communication skills. Demonstration of strong commitment to the education of residents and medical students is essential.
