Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Dermatologist to support Veterans Affairs (VA) medical activities at the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) located at 1501 San Pedro Drive SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Responsibilities
- Provides outpatient care, both as a primary provider as well as in a consultative role
- Maintains clinical responsibilities under the guidance and direction of the Chief, Dermatology Section
- Participates, oversees, and collaborates to ensure that all applicable clinical functions which include outpatient and inpatient consultative medical care are performed
- Participates in administrative and quality improvement activities
- Assists administration and other staff in policy development and compliance with Joint Commission
- Responsible for education medical and resident students
Qualifications and Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible is preferred
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine; the degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the VA for the year in which the course of study was completed
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
- Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
