Job Details

• Position: Dermatology Physician, locum tenens
• Location: Kennesaw, Georgia 30144 (Atlanta metro)
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 11/9/2026
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient dermatology clinic
• Patient Volume: Approximately 24 patient encounters per day
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,270 to $7,420

Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology
• At least 1 year of dermatology experience required
• Active physician license and ability to meet all credentialing requirements
• BLS certification required
• Fellowship training preferred
• Strong outpatient dermatology experience
• Experience with common dermatology procedures, including biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation with curettage, and cryosurgery
• Phototherapy experience preferred, including ultraviolet light therapy, non-augmented UVB, PUVA, and photopheresis

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient dermatology care to a diverse patient population
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions
• Perform common dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, electrodesiccation with curettage, and cryosurgery
• Support phototherapy services when indicated
• Maintain efficient patient flow while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Document accurately and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth daily operations
