Position Overview

A busy outpatient dermatology clinic is seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician to join their team on a temporary basis. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general dermatology care in an outpatient setting
• Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 25–35 patients
• Perform minor dermatologic procedures (optional, based on experience)
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting and documentation
• Collaborate with clinical support staff (LPN, RN, MA support ratio ~1:12 patients)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Dermatology (highly preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience
• Active New York medical license (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Recent Epic EMR experience
• Clean, up-to-date work history (no gaps >30 days)
• Malpractice disclosures (if applicable, with physician statement)

Schedule & Work Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
• No call or weekend coverage
• Flexible scheduling may be available
• Opportunity to help offset coverage gaps with another provider

Additional Information

• Orientation: 16 hours (billable)
• Holidays observed per facility guidelines
