We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatology Physician (MD) for a locum tenens opportunity in Rochester, NY. The provider will deliver general dermatology care in an outpatient setting, with the option to perform minor procedures based on experience. Flexibility to support nearby clinic locations may be required.
Job Overview
- Location: Rochester, New York
- Start Date: June 2026 (or ASAP after credentialing)
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call: None
- Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Job Responsibilities
See 25–35 patients per day
Perform minor dermatologic procedures (optional)
Collaborate with clinical support staff (LPN, RN, MA)
Document patient care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
Active New York medical license (required)
Minimum 3+ years of recent dermatology experience
BLS certification required
Recent EPIC experience required
Clean work history (no gaps >30 days)
Malpractice disclosure (if applicable)
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No call responsibilities
Skills
Experience with minor dermatologic procedures
Proficiency in EPIC EMR documentation
Effective patient communication and care management
Ability to work in a team-based environment
