Dermatology Physician

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year recent dermatology experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Ability to perform skin biopsies and manage complex cases
- Strong clinical skills in both adult and pediatric dermatology (patients aged 13 years and older)
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with teledermatology platforms
- Pediatric dermatology specialization
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse populations
- Additional certifications in dermatology subspecialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Dermatology
- Licensed to practice in California
- At least one year of recent dermatology practice
Other Requirements:
- Must be local to the Bay Area or Northern California to minimize travel expenses
- DEA license required
- Credentialing completion within approximately three months
- Flexibility to cover shifts on Thursdays (ideal), Wednesdays, and Mondays, with some remote teledermatology consults possible
- Shift hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 8-hour daytime shifts
- Potential for minimal call duties; some inpatient consults may apply
