• Position: Locum Tenens Dermatologist / Dermatology Physician (Night Shifts)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (contract/travel) — North Carolina locum tenens opportunity

• Start Date: June 15, 2026
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Shifts: 4 x 10-hour night shifts per week (Mon–Thu, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Setting: Hospital-based dermatology department — medical and cosmetic dermatology services
• Support Staff: 3 Certified Medical Assistants (including scribing support) per provider
• Patient Volume: 30–40 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages (flexible/discussable)
• EMR: EPIC (experience preferred)

Job Requirements

• Board Certified Dermatologist (required)
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility (IMLC accepted) — North Carolina license preferred
• DEA license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in general dermatology
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations as required by facility policy
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions across all ages, including skin of color, hyperpigmentation, hair loss, acne, rosacea, eczema, and more
• Perform skin cancer screenings, biopsies/spot checks, and treat common conditions such as warts, molluscum, seborrheic dermatitis, fungal infections, cysts/abscesses, psoriasis, tinea versicolor, and actinic keratoses
• Provide cosmetic dermatology services (Botox, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, skin tag removal) as part of the hospital-based dermatology offering
• Collaborate with an experienced Mohs surgeon for specialized procedures and coordinated care
• Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently in EPIC EMR
• Work closely with CMAs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
