🏥 Position Overview
We are seeking a Dermatologist (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity in Rochester, New York. This position involves providing outpatient dermatology care in a busy and well-supported clinic environment.
The provider will primarily work at a dermatology clinic in Rochester, with occasional support at a nearby dermatology location if needed. This role offers steady weekday hours, strong clinical support, and consistent patient flow.
👨⚕️ Eligible Provider
✔️ MD / DO – Dermatology
✔️ Board Eligible or Board Certified
✔️ Active New York Medical License Required
✔️ BLS Certification Required
✔️ Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience
🔎 Key Responsibilities
🌿 Evaluate and treat general dermatologic conditions
🔬 Diagnose and manage skin diseases and disorders
📋 Provide outpatient dermatology consultations and follow-up care
✂️ Opportunity to perform minor dermatologic procedures or surgeries (optional based on experience)
💻 Document patient care using the EPIC EMR system
🏥 Practice Environment
🏥 Outpatient dermatology clinic setting
👩⚕️ Strong clinical support staff available
👥 Typical support ratio: 1 clinical staff member for every ~12 patients
💻 EPIC Electronic Medical Record system
📅 Schedule & Patient Volume
📆 Monday – Friday schedule
⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM shifts
👥 Average patient volume: 25–35 patients per day
📍 Primary coverage at Genesee Valley dermatology clinic
📍 Occasional support at nearby dermatology clinic if needed

📑 Active New York license required prior to start
💻 Recent EPIC experience required
🚑 BLS certification required
