We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in New York. In this role, you will work closely with dermatologists to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of skin conditions while providing excellent patient care and education. Position Overview

As a Dermatology PA, you will support physicians in clinical and procedural care, help patients with medical and cosmetic dermatology needs, and play a key role in facilitating patient recovery. You will be involved in everything from skin cancer screenings to minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take medical histories and perform comprehensive physical exams

  • Diagnose and treat dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, and rosacea

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests

  • Perform biopsies, wide excisions, and cryotherapy

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications

  • Provide patient education and preventive care guidance

  • Assist in surgeries, including Mohs surgery

  • Perform cosmetic procedures such as Botox, chemical peels, and laser skin treatments

Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree and completion of an approved PA Program

  • Active New York PA license with at least 6 months of dermatology experience

  • Controlled Substance and DEA registration for New York

  • NCCPA Certification

  • Post-graduate training in surgery or at least one-year equivalent work experience

  • Emergency Medicine / Family Practice / Acute Care experience preferred

  • DOT, BLS, ACLS certifications preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

  • Proficient with EMR systems (preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
