Job description
The Opportunity
Imagine practicing medicine in the state ranked #1 Best Place to Live in America by U.S. News & World Report—where your clinical excellence is matched by exceptional earning potential. This is not a typical dermatology opportunity. This is a career-defining position with one of the nation's largest and most respected dermatology organizations, offering an unparalleled combination of financial upside, clinical autonomy, and work-life balance in Wisconsin's most desirable communities.
With physician turnover under 5% and a compensation model that rewards productivity, this organization has built something rare in private equity-backed healthcare: a culture where physicians genuinely thrive. Your patients benefit from an established referral network, state-of-the-art facilities, and comprehensive support staff—while you benefit from reimbursement rates that are among the highest in the country at $240-250 per patient.
Whether you're drawn to Green Bay's championship sports culture, Neenah's pristine lakefront living, or Oconomowoc's resort-town charm, Wisconsin offers something increasingly rare: communities where six-figure incomes buy genuine quality of life. This is your opportunity to build a practice—and a life—that exceeds expectations.
Perks & Benefits
- Year 1 guaranteed compensation of $750,000 (base + sign-on)
- 45% of collections with no cap on earnings—top producers exceed $950,000
- Four-day clinical week standard
- Comprehensive malpractice coverage (occurrence-based)
- Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match
- CME allowance and paid time off for conferences
- Partnership track available with equity participation
- Relocation assistance
- No state income tax burden on your Wisconsin lifestyle
- PA/NP supervision income potential up to $200,000 additional
The Culture
This organization was built by dermatologists, for dermatologists—and that physician-first philosophy remains at the core of everything they do. With less than 5% annual turnover in an industry where physician burnout is epidemic, they've cracked the code on sustainable practice: competitive compensation that actually rewards hard work, administrative support that eliminates hassles, and a collegial culture where your voice matters.
Leadership is accessible. Bureaucracy is minimal. Your clinical judgment is respected. When physicians say they love working here, they mean it—and they prove it by staying. In an era of "quiet quitting" and healthcare exodus, this organization retains its talent because they've built something worth staying for.
About the Location
Welcome to Wisconsin—where your dollar stretches further, your commute shrinks, and your weekends are spent on pristine lakes rather than stuck in traffic.
GREEN BAY: Home to the legendary Packers and Lambeau Field, Green Bay combines small-city charm with big-league amenities. Cost of living runs 13% below national average, with median homes at just $276,000. The Titletown District offers year-round family entertainment, while Door County's stunning peninsula—"The Cape Cod of the Midwest"—sits 45 minutes north.
NEENAH: Nestled on Lake Winnebago—Wisconsin's largest inland lake at 137 square miles—Neenah delivers the quintessential lakefront lifestyle. Watch the sunrise from your dock, sail in summer, ice fish in winter. The nationally-recognized downtown features craft breweries, boutique shopping, and the stunning Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass. Median homes: $280,000.
OCONOMOWOC: Wisconsin's premier lake country destination, Oconomowoc surrounds you with crystal-clear waters and resort-town sophistication.
