Work Setting: Outpatient Dermatology Practice - General Dermatology

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Board-Certified Dermatologist to join a busy and growing outpatient dermatology practice in Ocala, Florida. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive general dermatology care to patients of all ages, treating a wide spectrum of skin conditions ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while educating patients on preventive skin health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive general dermatology services to a diverse patient population.

  • Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, benign, and malignant skin conditions using appropriate diagnostic techniques.

  • Serve in a collaborative and, as needed, Supervising Physician role.

  • Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, and long-term skin health.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records using an EMR system.

  • Ensure adherence to all state laws, clinical regulations, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and teamwork within the practice.

  • Maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and confidentiality in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Dermatologist (MD or DO).

  • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license.

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and procedural dermatology skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.

  • Patient Population: All ages with general dermatology needs.

  • Practice Type: High-volume outpatient dermatology clinic.
