Job Title: Part-Time Clinical Research Dermatologist
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Part-Time (0-8 hours/week)
Start Date: Within 0-6 months
About the Role
We are seeking a board-certified Dermatologist to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) in Phase I-IV clinical trials. The physician will oversee protocol compliance, ensure participant safety, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance high-quality clinical research in dermatology and related therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as PI or Sub-I in dermatology-focused and multi-therapeutic clinical trials

Conduct medical screenings, dermatologic assessments, and physical examinations

Provide clinical oversight and ensure compliance with protocols, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements

Document patient interactions, adverse events, and outcomes in EHR/EDC systems

Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, monitors, and sponsors

Participate in site initiation visits, monitoring visits, audits, and investigator meetings

Contribute to feasibility reviews, study design input, and recruitment strategies

Stay current on clinical research regulations and advances in dermatology therapies
Qualifications

MD or DO with an active Arizona medical license

Board certification in Dermatology

DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification

Prior clinical research experience preferred (training available for motivated candidates)

Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
