Job description
StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a private, high-performing dermatology group in Missouri (MO) to recruit a Mohs Micrographic Surgeon to anchor and scale a busy skin-cancer program. You’ll operate within a proven Mohs platform featuring an on-site lab, in-house dermatopathology, and a seasoned surgical team—built so you can focus on surgery, reconstruction, and outcomes.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Compensation: Competitive base as an advance against % of net collections, with in-year bonus advances and a year-end true-up; top performers have reached up to $1.6M total compensation (dependent on schedule, case mix, payer mix, and reconstruction complexity).

  • Clinical infrastructure: In-house Mohs lab & dermatopathology for rapid reads and tight surg-path collaboration

  • Efficient ops: Scribe + MA coverage, multiple rooms, optimized patient flow

  • Relocation: Assistance available case-by-case

  • Comprehensive benefits: Health & dental, 401(k) (match discussed during interview), PTO + holidays, CME funds/days

  • Malpractice: Claims-made with tail provided upon departure in good standing

  • Graduating fellows: Early-commitment stipend considered (protective terms)

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:

  • Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon (ACMS preferred) or demonstrably experienced Mohs surgeon

  • Strong reconstructive skill set (flaps/grafts); optional cosmetics if desired

  • Standard 4-day schedule (flexible) with autonomy to shape pace and case mix

  • Board-Certified/Eligible in Dermatology; MO license or eligibility

  • Patient-first, team-oriented communicator; collaborative with pathology and clinic staff

  • Visa options: J-1 and TN considered

If you’re a surgically excellent, patient-first Mohs surgeon seeking a platform in MO built for clinical impact and real earning power, let’s connect.
