Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist for a locum to permanent opportunity. This is a full-time, outpatient position providing general dermatology services in a well-established clinic with a strong support staff and patient base.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage a full outpatient schedule with 30 patients per day
• Collaborate with clinic support team (2:1 nursing ratio)
• Optional teaching opportunities through family medicine residency program
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
• Coordinate with hospital staff if infusions are ordered
Qualifications
• Completion of a Dermatology Residency – Required
• Active Iowa medical license or valid IMLC LOQ – Required
• Clean malpractice and background history – Required
Working Hours
• Patient Contact: 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM / 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Clinical Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call duties
Skills
• Strong patient communication and clinical efficiency
• Proficient in Cerner EMR
• Ability to manage high patient volume (30/day)
