Practice Overview

  • Join a collaborative team at a respected academic department with national recognition in complex medical dermatology
  • Flexible faculty tracks: Clinician-Educator, Clinician-Scientist, or Professor of Practice
  • Shared 1 in 8 call rotation, primarily phone-based; residents are the first responders
  • Engage in a variety of procedures, with opportunities for research and teaching


Schedule

  • 8 half-day clinics per week, Monday through Thursday
  • Friday reserved for academic and research activities
  • Balanced call structure with resident support
  • Flexibility to focus on clinical, educational, or research interests


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $300,000-$320,000, with additional productivity-based bonuses
  • Potential for supplemental income through cosmetic services and clinical trials
  • Comprehensive benefits package including faculty tuition waivers
  • Opportunities for professional growth based on research or clinical program revenue


Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology; ACGME residency required
  • Strong commitment to teaching and academic engagement
  • Open to recent graduates or experienced dermatologists; Louisiana medical licensure required
  • Visa sponsorship is available but not preferred
